As they say, we cannot pursue any other profession if there’s no teacher who will teach us the basics. There will be no doctors, nurses, engineers, architects, lawyers, and all other huge professions out there.

Sad to say, teachers are neglected and often times belittled. Behind those harsh words and non-appreciation, teachers still continue to risk their lives to teach even to the most secluded barangays in the Philippines.

Some even had to cross a river just to go to their respective schools.

A video which garnered the attention of many netizens shows how teachers from the Dalagsaan Integrated School go through the extent of crossing a river just to go to school and share their knowledge to their students.

Dalagasaan Integrated School is situated at Libacao, Aklan in the Philippines. However, unlike any other schools in the Philippines where you simply walk or ride a vehicle and you can reach your destination, teachers of this school needs to pass a screeching river just to go to school.

In the video, held something to float while the man in the front of them helped them get through the river. The dangers are doubled during rainy days.

Despite their tough situation, these teachers still think that everything that they had to go through is all worth it because of the knowledge that they can empower their students as they reach their school.

#KMJS
