A Filipina domestic helper in Hong Kong known to be an athletic person collapsed inside the house of her employer. She soon passed away the next day.

According to The Sun Hong Kong, Jennelin S. Gariando was just preparing a meal for her employer around 5 in the evening when she lost consciousness and collapsed. From her employer’s home in Happy Valley, she was rushed to the hospital where she passed away the next day.

She was just 51 when the unfortunate incident happened.

Jennelin first came to Hong Kong last 1998 and worked for 20 years in the same household. When the incident, her employer immediately called an ambulance so she can be transported to the Pamela YoudeNethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan. Unfortunately, when the ambulance arrived, she was already in a coma.

The doctors confirmed that Jennelin acquired a fractured skull which could be due to the impact when she hit her head on the floor.

According to Mary Grace Gariando, her sister Jennelin do not have any ailments and also plays volleyball and a hiker at the same time.

However, Mary Grace thinks that her sister suffered from high blood pressure without her knowledge particularly because their mother died at the age of 75 due to stroke.

Meanwhile, her daughter Cristina wrote a Mother’s Day message for her mother.

“Gusto kong mag pasalamat sa lahat-lahat ng hirap niya para makaahon kami sahirap. Salamat sa sakripisyo kahit nakikita namin na nahihirapan na siya, di nya iniinda. Mahal namahal ko siya, ng mga apo niya, pati na si Papa… at nasa puso siya naming lahat.”
