We are already knowledgeable about the working condition of some of our Filipino workers, especially those who are working as domestic helpers. News is all over the web are living testimonies of how difficult it is to be away from your family in the Philippines and work for a foreign employer who can be heartless at times.

This Overseas Filipino Worker in Saudi Arabia had to experience sleeping in the rooftop because her employers are heartless enough to let her stay in one of their rooms inside their house.

In a post which was posted in a Facebook Page created to help Overseas Filipino Workers, a woman can be seen lying in an open area that looks like a rooftop.

The name of the woman was not identified but it is evident on her face that she is unhappy and could be suffering from the hot weather in Saudi that could spike up for as high as 50 degrees.

Thankfully, the post went viral that it concerned her employers. Afraid that they could be punished for the harsh treatment of the OFW, they gave her a proper room to rest, something that they should have done in the first place.

The number of Overseas Filipino Workers being treated unfairly in Saudi Arabia is continuously rising. The side of the Philippine Embassy regarding this issue was not heard.
