A boy has accused a Filipina maid of treating her badly, The Sun Hong Kong reported.
A boy in Hong Kong, 11-years old, testified in front of the court as he accused a Filipino domestic helper of treating her badly.
The victim was identified only as “X”, appeared as the first witness to face the court trial that happened in Kowloon City, Hong Kong.
At first, he was briefed by Magistrate Raymond Wong that he is only allowed to speak with the magistrate as well as the prosecution and defense lawyer.
The Filipina Angela Vivo denied allegations of bad treatment towards the boy. She sat quietly as a video of the boy was played in the court.
In the video, the Magistrate interviewed the boy who looked serious and replied promptly when questions were raised on him.
He also differentiates the truth against a lie.
“Telling the truth is telling facts, telling a lie is no one would believe you,” the boy can be heard telling.
According to the boy, the first incident of ill-treatment happened last February 2016, near the Yaumatei Fire Station and another one in July inside the boy’s house. Next incidents happened in 2017 and another in 2018.
