One of the enemies of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) is depression. It can either be due to homesickness or family problems that are taking weigh on the minds of migrant workers.

Another OFW in Hong Kong has become a victim of depression resulting in a mental illness that is hard to reverse without the emotional support of the family.

A Facebook user Ako C Bloodyrose posted a photo of a woman who’s been roaming around Westfield, Hong Kong and seems like not on her normal self.

She is talking to herself while walking, grabbing the attention of another Filipina. She approached the OFW and asked her name but failed to get any valuable information and only talked about impossible things.

“Tinanong ko kung ano name nia siya daw po ang nagresign na prime minister at nakatira daw po siya sa Buckingham Palace and she is talking about allowing his man to get married and invited daw po lahat ng tao sa mundo,” says the Facebook user.

As it turns out, the OFW allegedly got insane because of some family problems. Her children were allegedly taken by her mother causing her despair. This is said to be the primary cause of her lost sanity.

The Facebook user hopes that somebody can help the poor OFW so she can return to her family in the Philippines and receive medical attention.
