An Overseas Filipino Worker from Saudi Arabia went home to the Philippines and to the TV show Raffy Tulfo in Action after her employer denied giving her three month salary.

From the airport, Lany Recana went directly to the TV show of Raffy Tulfo to ask for help regarding her salary in Saudi Arabia which was not given to her. The poor OFW only have 400 Riyals on hand and couldn’t even buy chocolates for her kids.

Raffy Tulfo contacted the recruitment agency of Lany which is American Prime Agency. He was able to talk to Marites Soriano. According to Soriano, they never received any complaints from the woman but here she is now, airing her concern in national TV.

Why did she do it? Lany went directly to Raffy Tulfo, slept outside their studio and waited for hours just so she can personally ask for help from Raffy Tulfo. According to her, they contacted the American Prime Agency for a year but they refuse to answer their concerns.

The 36-year-old OFW decided to went directly to Raffy Tulfo because she trusted him more. Lany was never wrong.

Aside from the help that Raffy Tulfo gave with regards to her salary concerns, she was also given PhP10,000 cash and groceries for her family in the province. He also promised to buy clothes and other things for her children.

After spending the night in the hotel so she can rest, something which was also sponsored by Raffy Tulfo, they went shopping for ‘pasalubong’ for her children.

After that, they went to OWWA to talk to her agency. Finally, they were able to resolve the issue and Lany got the three month salary.
