49 Overseas Filipino Workers currently at the deportation area is asking for help for their fast repatriation as most of them already spent years in the area.

A group of Filipino workers is asking for help directly from President Duterte as well as OWWA, POEA, DOLE as they are losing hope that they can still return to the Philippines.

One OFW said that she stayed in the area for almost a year now. She fears that her return to the Philippines will become impossible. The OFW also relates that she is a single mother and the breadwinner of her family. She also said that those OFW who were recently repatriated just arrived in the facility and yet they were able to return ahead of them.

According to the woman in the video, their life in the deportation area is never easy. They were not given enough food and their internet connection which is their means to communicate with their family in the Philippines is gone. They also had to deal with the attitude of other nationalities.

They are appealing to extend the help to them instead of only in Bahay Kalinga where the recent OFW deportees came from.

As of the moment, there are no updates regarding their situation and when they can return to the Philippines.
