One of the reasons for Overseas Filipino Workers taking their own lives is hopelessness. Combined with depression, the urge to end one’s life becomes totally strong. Before it becomes too late, the agency who deployed the OFW must respond to the calls of help, especially in the most desperate times.

A certain Ariam Anit Sirik took to social media to ask for help for her friend who is an Overseas Filipino Worker. She is currently in Saudi Arabia.

To add to the long list of Filipina in this gulf country experiencing bad treatment perpetuated by their employers, Michelle Chavez Misa is said to have to go through the same path.

According to Ariam, Michelle is being hurt physically by her employer and also forced to work for her employer’s friends and other relatives. Even after all her hard-work, she is not given a salary to compensate her sacrifices.

In the video, the Davao city native can be seen crying as she speaks about her despair and losing hope that she will still see her family in the Philippines. It seems like she is already saying goodbye to her family as she could not keep from living amidst her current tough situation.

Here are the other details of Michelle.
