Another Filipina domestic helper becomes the victim of a bad-treating employer after they refuse to send her to the hospital despite previously claiming that she is feeling a sharp pain on one side of her body.
Sadrean Lipon Borromeo paid her employer SAR200 to be taken to the hospital for consultation as she is feeling pain on the side. Her employer took the money but refused to take her to the hospital.
Soon, the condition of the OFW who hails from San Isidro, Leyte worsen and her employer was forced to take her to the hospital. She needs to undergo an operation for her to recover.
However, even after the operation, her employer still wants her to work as she only spent less than 8 months working before she was sent to the hospital. Normally, employment contracts have a validity of two years.
As for the OFW, she is determined to return to the Philippines after the operation but her employers are yet to agree to it. She hopes that the Philippine government can help her or her pleas will reach famous personality RaffyTulfo.
The Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia is yet to release help for Borromeo. Her agency was also unable to help the poor Filipina. She is currently at King Fahad Hospital at Houfof, Saudi Arabia and scheduled for an operation to remove gallbladder stones.
