If you are planning to bring television set to the Philippines, Gulf Air announces that they will allow it as part of the “free baggage allowance” as long as you meet their qualifications.

In a statement that was released by Gulf Air as for their baggage policy for television, it says that television units with a maximum size of 50 inches are considered part of the Free Baggage Allowance.

Previously, the airline only allows below 42-inch television to be checked-in but the allowed television size was soon increased. This means OFWs who are planning to bring as big as 50-inch television to the Philippines will no longer need to pay huge cargo fees as Gulf Air allows it as part of their Free Baggage Allowance.

According to the airline, television that is more than 50 inches will have to be shipped through cargo.

For added information, you can contact the sales support of Gulf Air through their official email at reservations.kuwait@gulfair.com.

This is good news for all OFWs who are trying to save the expense of sending television through cargo as it is more expensive and takes some time to arrive.
