More than PhP6 Million was taken by a Filipina maid in Hong Kong who admitted to the allegations against her. However, it seems like admitting the truth wouldn’t be enough as her case goes on.

Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Carmelita Nones, ages 45 years old, admitted to taking HK$1 million in Eastern Court last November 29.

As it turns out, aside from the $1.1 million worth of jewelry items that were taken by Nones, it was found out that she stole and pawned more jewelry after more pawnshop receipts were found on her personal belongings. This goes to show that she stole more items than the things which were already known.

According to reports, the Filipina domestic helper was arrested inside the residence of her employer David Liang at Deepwater Bay Road, Hong Kong Island South.

By the time she appeared to the court, she admitted to stealing two luxury watches of her employers during the months of July and August of this year.

As investigations roll by, it was found that five more watches went missing and that Nones took it and pawned in the pawnshop. The other four jewelry items were found in her possession.

Nones is under police custody without bail ever since she was arrested.
