Clean criminal record – this is now one of the requirements for anyone coming to Kuwait for work purposes, says the Interior Ministry.

The Interior Ministry in Kuwait is now requiring expats set to work in the country to present two certificates that show clean criminal records.

The first one which is the police clearance certificate (PCC) should come from their country of origin by which, it must be authenticated by the Embassy in Kuwait. The clean criminal certificate must be obtained no more than three months before entering the country.

For the second PCCC, it must be from the forensics department in Kuwait but must not be less than three months before going to Kuwait.

Government agencies all over the country were already informed by the Civil Service Commission regarding this new regulation.

All expats planning to work in Kuwait must first obtain these certificates stating that they never committed a crime and their records are all clean.
