Another Filipino singer made the country so proud after receiving a standing ovation from American audience and judges during the “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” show.

In his performance, he performed a duet of the song “The Prayer” while singing both the male and female parts, the same talent that put him to the top during the Pilipinas Got Talent in 2011.

Pomoy was with his wife before the performance and she explained that his husband, Marcelito, is determined to win the competition. Without a doubt, his performance draws the attention of the judges and the crowd and even Judge Cowell gave him a perfect score of 10.

“That was what I call a 10, a simple as that. I have a feeling that the super fans will put you through to the next round,” says Cowell.

“That was so unique, you are a beautiful, wonderful singer with a young woman trap inside of you,” says another judge, Howie Mandel.

Other judges Alesha Dixon and Heidi Klum also praised the unique performance of Pomoy, something that they’ve been looking for.

“I want to see something different, something unique and Marcelito you just gave that to us. It was absolutely brilliant,” says Dixon, one of the judges.

“Honestly, this is one of the craziest things I ever heard in my entire life. Your voice, your range, your sound is just so out of this world,” says Klum, another judge.

Aside from winning the second season of “Pilipinas Got Talent” in 2011, Pomoy was also recognized by her unique singing at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2018. He also met his all-time favorite singer, Celine Dion, through the help of DeGeneres.
