The Philippine Labor Attaché in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has been accused of corruption and sexual harassment.

The said complaint was filed by a Filipino welfare officer identified as Herbert Mayores and his wife against Nasser Mustafa of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office.

According to Mayores, the Labor Attache is asking for bribe from recruitment agencies including the ones he is working with. It is estimated that Mustafa already got USD7,000.

Moreover, it is said that Mustafa has been doing this ever since he was a Labor Attache in Jeddah and the Eastern Province region.

Aside from the corruption charges, Mustafa also allegedly harassed the wife of Mayores in exchange for a signature.

According to Mustafa, he has already filed a counter-affidavit. The international labor affairs of the Department of Labor and Employment remains mum on the issue.
