Being away from your loved ones as they work outside the country is already hard to bear. But knowing that they passed away while working and you weren’t able to see them before they died is the saddest part of being an OFW. The pain is unbearable and yet another family had to endure the same exact sadness.

The keen of an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who lost her wife in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia were very grateful for the immediate help offered by Bombo Radyo Koronadal towards the repatriation of the remains of the Filipina.

In an interview, Reymundo Mampo, resident of Brgy. Calian, Tacurong City and husband of the OFW Evangeline Tambon, he felt emotional as he rendered his thanks for the help that they received.

According to Mampo, he immediately called Bombo Radyo for help in the repatriation of his wife’s remains after knowing of her demise.

Mampo shared that his wife is the breadwinner of their family. But despite that, Mampo remains positive that he can still give a good future to their three children despite losing his wife.

The OFW will be buried this Sunday at the Tacurong Cemetary. The cause of the OFW’s unfortunate passing remains unknown.
