Do you have a reentry visa in Saudi Arabia? You might get affected by this recent regulation in Saudi Arabia.

According to the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat), expats who were able to exit the country but still has a reentry visa and failed to come back before their visa got expired will not be allowed to enter again the Kingdom for the next three years.

But expats who have returned to their past employers with a new work visa will not get affected by the said regulation.

Recently, Jawazat was asked about the matter and this announcement is in response to the queries. There are a lot of foreigners who want to reenter the country but this might not be possible if their visa is expired. It will take them quite a while to return to the country.

Saudi Arabia has been home to expatriates from different countries all over the world. It is also one of the primary destinations of Filipinos wanting to work as domestic workers. But due to the pandemic, the entry of expats became limited.
