Another life was lost in Kuwait involving a Filipina domestic helper.

As they say, depression kills, and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) who are away from their family are very prone to it.

On Monday, a Filipina domestic helper took her own life while inside the house of her employer in Al Waha District, Kuwait.

According to reports, 31-year old Filipina hanged herself inside her bedroom through the use of a string. The incident was immediately reported to the authorities who immediately responded to the scene.

There, they found the Filipina who was already dead. As for the testimony of the sponsor, their Filipina maid didn’t have problems with her work.

Authorities will conduct a post-mortem examination into the remains of the OFW to determine if there is foul play involved. But their investigation leads to possible suicide.

This is not the first time a suicide incident took place in Kuwait. Just three days ago, a Filipina domestic helper also took her own life by hanging inside her employer’s house located in Abdullah Al Salem neighborhood.
