The family of an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Kuwait is appealing for help for her mother who recently suffered a mild stroke.

In a Facebook post of Arlyn Yap Salvo, she relates how their family needed immediate help after her mother had a mild stroke while working as a domestic worker in Kuwait.

According to her, the right side of her mother’s body was affected, and also have short-term memory loss. There are times when her mother couldn’t recognize the person she is talking to.

What her family is scared of is the fact that the OFW couldn’t make it to her connecting flight in Mindanao, in case her employer provides for her plane ticket going back to the Philippines. Her family thinks that the OFW needs assistance for her flight back to Cagayan de Oro.

The OFW’s family is appealing for help so the OFW can safely return to the Philippines despite her condition. They are tagging TV personality Raffy Tulfo for help as he is known to provide aid for those in need, especially Overseas Filipino Workers.
