The family of the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Kuwait who reportedly took her own life is doubtful of the cause of her death.

In an interview, Ashia, sister of the OFW said that it’s almost impossible for her sister to take her own life because she has more will to live than her.

Ashia also accused the employer of lying as she claims that the death of the 31-year-old Filipina was only revealed by her employer a day after the incident. She immediately went to the funeral parlor to confirm if it was indeed her sister. From there, she saw the lifeless body of the Filipina with blood on her head.

But the employer claims that the Filipina took her own life by drinking lots of medicine and stabbing herself.

The family of the OFW is also appealing for help from the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait to no avail. There was even a time when cut short.

Ashia hopes that the remains of her sister will return home as soon as possible despite the Ramadan season.
